great lock. It did take a little while for it to process and ship. the lock is awesome. works perfect in my springfield and canik. I do find that you have to give a little bit of pressure to get it to seat on your extractor but you feel and hear a little audible click when it does. perfect lock for a home defense gun. easy to use rapid dial at any position to unlock the gun. cant wait for the other calibers to come out along with the remote units.

I’m very happy with the Zore. The ads stress how quickly it can be unlocked, but I was more interested in something else: a lock that would actually provide safety. This one does. Most of the gun locks I have seen are cheap, flimsy things that many 10 year old kids with access to basic tools could defeat. The Zore is the first lock I have seen that gives me confidence that the gun is actually safe from people who shouldn’t handle it. The Zore is very well made, solid and precisely machined, and it works exactly as advertised. I recommend it without reservation.

My one suggestion for buyers is to read the instructions first. It ships with the locking unit in a protective sleeve. I figured I’d take the sleeve off and then figure out how it worked. The sleeve simply wouldn’t budge. Should have read the instructions. The Zore ships locked, so you have to unlock it to take off the sleeve.

Was so happy when my Zore arrived! It is a cool lock and very user friendly. I was able to set a code quickly and the more I practice, the faster I can open it. I think that’s especially cool.

I received my Zore product and out of the box I knew it wasn’t your ordinary gun lock. After setting it up and running it through some paces.

After nearly 300 operations of locking and unlocking. I can say with confidence that this is the lock you can depend on.

The Zore is a very neat lock and I like it very much. I think the coolest thing about it is that you can put enter your combination in either direction. As long as the number sequence that you pick (you set your own code) is correct it will unlock. It might seem unimportant but it’s actually a very cool feature. The last number doesn’t need to be exact and more clicks wont hurt and it will still open, but less clicks then the number you set and it won’t unlock. All around a nice product

This lock is really perfect for me and my famliy. I don’t particularly like the idea of a safe as I find the only place I would want to put a safe would be inherently inaccessible or inconvenient to reach or get to. This lock is so compact, it’s great. You can store your gun wherever you feel comfortable that it is secure, but the gun can only be fired by whoever knows the code (my wife and I both know It) Unlike the fingerprint lock which worries me because what if im trying to open it in a hurry and I might be a bit tense, so it may not work like my phone. I also like this better then a key lock because who can ever find their key quick enough? or if you do decide to keep the physical key physically close to the gun, there is a risk of someone else being able to find it as well, thus totally defeating the original purpose. Anyway, I basically think this lock is a real problem solver.

got the zore, works great in my glock 19, but doesn’t work at all in my beretta 92 fs would’ve been great if it worked in both

My Zore-X is simply excellent. The Zore company was able to combine two unique inventions, the concept itself and a no need to look at dial lock, which can be opened by clicks instead of pressing numbers or dealing with keys, and mastering it in their first product. The dial is an especially brilliant concept, as it operates so seamlessly. Hard to believe no one came up with this kind of product sooner. Well made, easy to use. Really nice work.

This is a must have for people with kids and a home protection mind set. I consider most safes/gunlocks impractical in a real world situation. This one solves that problem. After using my first Zore X Core I went on to buy one for all of my guns.

I did find it to be a bit nuanced in it’s use with my guns (Springfield XD Subcompact 9mm) in that only works correctly if there is a loaded magazine in place. Aside from that it works as advertised. I was a bit clumsy with the device at first because I was not used to it. If you are not at the range every day it would probably be a good idea to get some inert rounds to practice with.

Here is my initial thoughts/unboxing video: https://youtu.be/pcM-GxISb-w
I’ll do a couple of follow-up videos including my recommendation that you buy inert/dummy rounds to practice with.

Super cool device. I especially like that I can choose my own code and the code to unlock it can be as long or short as I want it to be. It’s important for me that I am in control of when/who/how/if my gun is accessible and I like that this Zore lock gives me all those choices.

I was very excited when my lock came in the mail. It came in a very nice black box and the zore lock itself looks very sleek and feels very sturdy (heavy for it’s size). Since I have been using it, the clicking back and forth becomes natural and I can now unlock it without looking! I would very much recommend this as a lock, because it does the job and is not as cumbersome or stationary as a big safe. With this product, your gun can be locked in any room of the house or anywhere really. Big fan over here.

I really love my new Zore lock, and it works great in my Glock 19 and my Ruger 9E. I can use it to lock them and unlocking is quick, but it doesn’t eject as smoothly from my Sig 229 That being said, I am overall pretty satisfied. Probably will order another one so each of them can have their own.

I bought this for my husband to attach to his Glock. I prefer for it to be in the safe at home, but since he prefers it outside the safe, I thought it would be a great compromise. This is the first lock of any sort he has agreed to! He was hesitant in the beginning, but he does use it now and I even catch him practicing with it sometimes.

Got the Zore for my Walther PPQ. Almost every time I tried to rack the slide, it didn’t eject smoothly! Very disappointed.

I contributed to the Indiegogo campaign so long ago, I pretty much forgot about it. When I received an email about compatibility, I was happy my Ruger 9E was listed. I finally got the thing and it seems pretty neat. I don’t use my weapon that frequently, but it gives me peace of mind to know that it’s protected while it’s protecting me.

Someone who hasn’t been locking their weapon till this point, won’t start just because of this device. If you are comparing it to a unlocked weapon, of course there is a bit of a lag, but if you get used to it, you could master it in probably around 2-5 seconds. For those people comparing it to other locking devices out there, it is maybe comparable to the best light safe in regards to unlocking speed but much better than any lock (which is not that impressive considering they’re all crappy cheap made-in-china locks). I bought this lock because I was looking for a better mobile solution than a light safe, and I am very pleased with my purchase. When I do leave the house without my gun I still prefer to keep the gun in the safe because I don’t want it to get stolen, and the Zore won’t prevent it of course. Anyhow, this device is for specific situations, but if you need a portable and available solution this is a good option.

Just got the Zore. Instillation was pretty easy. The dial concept takes getting used to, but doesn’t seem too complicated. I tested it a bunch times, it ejected smoothly. It took me around 3 seconds to unlock it, but I assume it’ll get shorter with time

I have been waiting for over a year for this. I finally got my hands on it a week ago and since then I must have tried over 200 times in three different guns and in all of them it worked smoothly. Firstly, I want to say, even from unboxing it, you can tell it’s a premium product. It feels like Zore was trying to make you feel like you bought an expensive watch. I don’t know if it’s necessary for a product that is practical and not a status symbol, but still- it was nice. The reason I bought it originally was that I liked when you rack the slide, it ejects the Zore and chambers a round so there is only one swift action, not a number of steps. In theory, I would have preferred a biometric fingerprint, but I am skeptical of the technology cause my iphone doesn’t recognize my fingerprint when my hands are wet, let alone even a little sweaty. With Zore, I was most skeptical of the dial, that it would take a long time to unlock it , but I have to say, after non stop fidgeting with it, unlocking it stops being about remembering the numbers and is more like muscle memory, which is exactly what was needed here. If in the future, if there were biometric options that could handle dirt or moisture, I would prefer that, but I would prefer the same concept as Zore. Basically, for anyone who is debating, considering what is currently on the market this is worth the price tag.

I ordered the Zore to be able to lock my weapon when I’m outside the house like at the gym or when I have it with me in the car. It’s a pretty great solution to having my gun but assuring only I can use it.

I originally bought three from the Indiegogo campaign. I finally feel relaxed that the weapons I have on every floor in my house are secure and that my kids or their friends won’t be able to mess around. It’s a pretty cool product and feels like it’s good quality. Just have in mind, that this is not an anti-theft device.

  30. Rated 5 out of 5

Surprisingly, it actually works like in the videos that were posted!! The Zore doesn’t prevent theft, but it is a great solution to make sure it doesn’t get in the kids hands. It’s definitely the best option in the market- forsure better then that biometric crap that won’t open if your hands are wet!!!

It took me a little while to get used to the dial, but now that I have I can say that you get used to it quickly and it both fast and intuitive. This is the best locking option I have come across till now. But I’m giving you only 4 stars cause yall made me wait for it for almost two years!

As an original Indiegogo backer of Zore I am consistently impressed with Zore’s updates and consideration of us as a company. Now that I have a Zore in my hands, I can see that the actual product is up to the same standards. Highly recommended.

I used the Zore in 3 of my 9mms a Ruger LC9, Glock 19 and my brand new M&P 9 M2.0. This product kicks ass, a real game changer, never used anything like it. It’s going to change the market

I’m one of the testers for ZORE and have been using it for about 4 months. My home defense weapon is for protecting my family, but I know that even if I educate them, my kids or their friends can do something stupid. Until now, I’ve used a safe but having tried this out, I think this is a better solution – but you do need to practice a bit.
